The National Weather Service will begin to initiate new Threat Categories of “Destructive” and “Considerable” Damage Threats for Severe Thunderstorm Warnings that trigger Wireless Emergency Alerts on Mobile Phones. Significant changes to the forecast from the overnight package, particularly with respect to increasing snowfall amounts. The Tuesday morning commute is looking *rough*, particularly I-78 & I-80 corridors, but I-95 northwest will need to be cautious, with at least some slushy accumulations forecast.
